The Burwood Summer U/2200 FIDE Tournament is a 7-round Swiss competition, FIDE and ACF rated, held weekly on Fridays. Players must record all moves on a scoresheet.
Schedule
Each round begins at 7:30pm (one game per week on Fridays). Dates are: 27 February, 6 March, 13 March, 20 March, 27 March, 17 April, 24 April.

- Fees
- $120 per player ($140 if paid after 25th February 2026)
- Format
- 7-round Swiss competition. Time limit is 60 minutes per player per game with a 30 second increment per move from the start.

- 1st Place: $1000 2nd Place: $600 3rd Place: $400 4th Place: $300 5th Place: $200 U/2000 FIDE: Book Prize U/1800 FIDE: Book Prize Best Junior: Book Prize
- Eligibility
- Players with a FIDE Standard rating under 2200 are eligible to enter. Unrated players are also welcome to join. You must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident, or have a FIDE ID.
