A 7-round Swiss tournament for Chess Artists Caulfield members, FIDE and ACF rated, with $1800 in provisional prizes. Players may take 2 half-point byes in rounds 1-5. Postponements are by agreement between both players, except for the final round.

Sundays Feb 1 - 29 March (No games Feb 15, March 8). Starting Time: 1pm.

- Fees
- Entry Fee: $75. GM/ IMs free. Membership: $90 (Annual), $120 Family membership for juniors.
- Format
- 7 round Swiss. Time Control: 90 minutes per game + 30 seconds per move. Forfeit time is 30 minutes after game scheduled to begin. FIDE and ACF rated.
- Prizes
- $1800 Prizes (Provisional): 1st: $540, 2nd: $360, 3rd: $180. Rating A: 1st $120, 2nd:$70, 3rd:$50. Rating B: 1st $120, 2nd:$70, 3rd:$50. Rating C: 1st $120, 2nd:$70, 3rd:$50. Players eligible for more than one prize category will only receive one prize: the higher value.

- One must be Chess Artists Caulfield member to play. All foreign players must have a FIDE Identification number.

All foreign players must have a FIDE Identification number. Closest train stations: Caulfield, Balaclava or Malvern. Closest tram No.64, tram 3A or tram16; stop at Caulfield park corner Hawthorn & Balaclava Roads. Parking: No restrictions on nearby Balaclava and Hawthorn Roads on Sundays.
