The 2026 Croydon Open is a 7-round ACF Classic rated Swiss tournament held over seven Thursday evenings. It has a maximum capacity of 44 players and allows two half-point byes in the first five rounds. Registration closes Monday 2nd February.

- Format
- 7 Round Swiss. Time Control: 60 minutes + 30 seconds per move. ACF Classic rated. Two half-point byes allowed in the first five rounds only.
- Prizes
- Total prize pool of $1000. Open prizes: 1st: $240; 2nd: $160; 3rd: $90. Rating prizes: U1600; U1300; U1000: 1st $90, 2nd $60. Unrated prize: $60. At most one cash prize per player. Players on the same score may need to share prizes.

No round on 12th March. Forfeit time is 30 minutes from the start of the round. Rescheduling of games is possible, except for round 7. Final pairings are published by 9am on Tuesday before the round.
