- Format: 9-round Robin System

- Format: 9-round Swiss Tournament
Total Prize Pool: $4650

Automatic Entry:
- Winner of 2025 Club Championship (Division 2): Leo Kalina, gets automatic entry to Division 1.

Qualification for Div 1 in 2027:
- The winner of Division 2 qualifies for Division 1 in 2027.

- Arbiter must be informed by Tuesday COB (Close of Business) if a bye is required.

- Format: 9 Round Robin

- Format: 9 Round Swiss Tournament
Rate of Play: 75 minutes per player per game plus 30 seconds per move from move one.
Forfeiture Time: 30 minutes from the scheduled start time.
ACF & FIDE Rated: The tournament is rated by both the Australian Chess Federation (ACF) and FIDE.
Total Rounds: 9 rounds for each division.
Byes:
- Maximum of two half point byes only are permitted for rounds 1 to 7 (Division 2 only)
Fees
Tournament Entry Fee: $70. Free for GM, WGM, IM, WIM. FM & WFM discount to $35 if registered by Friday 13th March. Membership (required): $85 for Adults, $70 for families and Concession.
Prizes
Total Prize Pool: $4650. Division 1 Prizes: 1st $1500, 2nd $800, 3rd $400, 4th $200. Division 2 Prizes: 1st $700, 2nd $400, 3rd $200. 3 ratings prizes of $150 each.
Eligibility
2026 BHCC membership or 2026 CJCC membership is required. All foreign players must have a FIDE Identification number. Division 2 open to players who must have a FIDE classic rating.
