All Oceania Federations now eligible for Development funding (sf 2026 Oceania Junior) For those interested, the development index regulations changed so all Oceania federations are now levels 3-5 (including Australia) which means all are eligible for 5000 euros from PDC for projects e.g. participating in an international tournament. Applications are now open and also qualify for an additional 10% for applications made before 30 June... Obviously there are other possibilities like organising FIDE-rated and/or IM norm tournaments, chess in schools, arbiter/organiser training etc. but this is one good option.
