Darebin Chess Club Autumn 2026 Open (Rapid) Tournament is a 7-round rapid match tournament held on Fridays. Each round consists of two games, one with each colour, against the same opponent, making 14 games total over 7 sessions. Two half-point byes can be taken in the first five rounds. The field is limited to the first 24 paid entrants.

Fridays 5:40 – 7:00 pm, 20 February until 10 April. Pairings are made each night based on attendance.
Format
7-round match tournament at the time control 13 + 2. Each round consists of two games, one with each colour, against the same opponent. Match points are used first to decide standings, followed by game points. Two half-point byes can be taken in the first five rounds.
