A 7-round Swiss system ACF-rated allegro tournament for adults and juniors, limited to 32 participants, held on March 29, 2026, at Narrandjeri Stadium in Thornbury. It features a 10+2 time control and offers cash and trophy prizes.
Eventbrite booking fees are included. A $5 discount is available for cash payments in advance at regular events.

Fees
$25 full entry, $20 for concession card holders, students & juniors (Eventbrite fees included). Cash rate for early payment at club: $20 for Adults and $15 Concession.
Prizes
Open: 1st $70, 2nd $50, 3rd $30; U18: 1st $50, 2nd $30, 3rd $20; U12: 1st Trophy, 2nd Medal, 3rd Medal. Only one prize per player.
Eligibility
ACF rated. Previously unrated participants can join ACF rating list. Open for both adults and juniors who are proficient in chess. Open to residents and non-residents of Darebin City Council. Non-members welcome. Not intended for beginners. Children 12 and below must be accompanied by an adult.
